What will you do for me?
In addition to helping make your wedding dreams come true while staying within your budget, we will save you time. With today's hectic lifestyles, many bridal couples and their families do not have the time for the detailed planning and effort that a beautiful wedding requires. We will not only handle the many time consuming, stress-inducing details, we'll help make your planning easier and more enjoyable.
Is hiring a wedding consultant necessary?
Only you can decide! Most couples find that they simply do not have the time necessary to visit every possible venue and vendor. Therefore, it makes sense to employ someone who can thoroughly research your ideas on your behalf. As more and more people work long hours and lead active social lives, planning a wedding can seem impossible to fit in without giving up other things that you enjoy.
How many hours does it take to plan a wedding?
The average wedding can take more than two hundred fifty hours to plan. Ask anyone who has been involved in planning a wedding and they’ll quickly tell you that planning one can be like a full time job. So much to do, and so little time to do it. With today's hectic lifestyles, you may not have time to compare all the options and make sure all the details are in place.
How do you charge for services?
Since every wedding is unique, our fees will vary according to each bride’s needs. For our "Full" or "Day of" service we charge a competitively priced flat fee based upon the complexity of your wedding, the size of your bridal party, the number of guests, the location, the amount of planning time from contract signing to wedding day, and the services you wish for us to provide, so you'll have the complete cost upfront. No surprises! Or, if only a few services are needed, hourly consultations are available.
Won't you want to run the whole show?
A common fear is that a wedding consultant will take over and plan your wedding. We will make recommendations and offer guidance, but all decisions will be yours.
We will work with you, handling as much or as little of your wedding as you want. After all, it is your wedding. We are there to help you and your family and make the day perfect.
My venue has an on-site wedding coordinator, why do I need another one?
Having an on-site coordinator at your venue is a huge asset. They have a ton of knowledge of the facility and what works best there. However, their main concern is handling details pertaining to their venue.
At Love Wedding Planning, we act as your advocate, handling all aspects of your wedding on your behalf. We'll help you plan all the details, and on your wedding day, we will be by your side every step of the way, ensuring all the details are in place just as you imagined. We work for you, and will have your best interests at heart!
I’ve done most of the planning on my own. Why should I have to pay for this if I can get my mother, Maid of Honor or a friend of the family to be my coordinator for free?
Your mother, maid of honor and that friend of the family all deserve to play a special part in your wedding. They should be with you enjoying all the special moments on your day. In reality, they may not feel comfortable or have the time to decorate the venue, deal with problems that may arise, handle vendor issues, etc. When you hire Love Wedding Planning, everything will be more organized and less hectic. We will handle everything that is going on behind the scenes so that you, your family and friends can ALL enjoy your stress free day!
Do you accept commissions?
We DO NOT accept any commission or referral fees from any of the vendors that we recommend. We refer vendors based on their reputation and quality of service. If they offer a referral fee or discount, we pass that savings on to our client.
When do I need to sign the contract and when are the deposit and balance due?
For our "Day of" Service $250.00 due as a non-refundable retainer and a signed contract will secure your date. The final balance will be due one week before your event. For our full service, 1/2 (50%) is due as a non-refundable retainer. The final balance due one week before event. Convenient payment plans can also be arranged. Hourly consultations are billed at time of service.
